James Morrison: Finally Does Justice To MJ Covers

Michael Jackson was one of those artists whose music could only had been sung by him, but James Morrison's cover of MJ's 'Man in the Mirror' proves that there's an exception to every rule. Morrison is an English singer/songwriter who rose to fame with his debut single 'You give me something.' The song was number one all over Europe but failed to make an impact in the US.
But after the 26 year old decided to cover one of Jackson's most beloved songs, he has found a warm welcome from US fans. His cover is climbing up the charts and promises to be one of this year's most surprising new artists.
After many others have attempted to cover MJ songs and failed miserably, it is refreshing to hear an honest delivery without the ridiculous attempt to copy Jackson's delivery.
James accomplishes to deliver the song in a completely change way while at the same time keeping the feeling and message behind the 80's number one hit, which was supposed to be a duet between Michael Jackson and either Barbra Streisand or Madonna but as we all know that never happened.
